Coldplay, Michael Stipe, Bring Me The Horizon y el argentino Richard Coleman, participan en un nuevo compilado de 60 canciones, en honor al Día de la Tierra.
El álbum titulado ‘EarthPercent x Earth Day 23’ también presenta canciones de CHVRCHES, Do Nothing y Nile Rodgers.
El disco fue lanzado para celebrar el Earth Day (22 de abril) y está disponible para descargar a través de Bandcamp por 31 dólares, mientras que una versión en vinilo también está disponible para reservar.
Todas las ganancias de la venta se destinarán a EarthPercent Grant, que brinda apoyo financiero a organizaciones que trabajan en la primera línea de la acción climática.
Fundado en 2021 por Brian Eno, EarthPercent tiene como objetivo «ofrecer formas simples e innovadoras para que las empresas y los artistas donen a las organizaciones más impactantes que abordan la emergencia climática».
En la compilación se incluye una versión acústica de ‘Strangers’ de Bring Me The Horizon, una versión en vivo de la colaboración de CHVRCHES con Robert Smith de The Cure grabada en Brixton Academy y una toma en vivo de Coldplay y HER interpretando ‘Let Somebody Go’.
