La larga lista de 82 canciones escritas para películas ahora se ha reducido a solo 15, incluido el sencillo de regreso de Rihanna ‘Lift Me Up’ de Black Panther: Wakanda Forever y ‘Hold My Hand’ de Lady Gaga de Top Gun: Maverick.
Por su parte, Taylor Swift y The Weeknd también han sido preseleccionados por sus contribuciones musicales a Where The Crawdads Sing y Avatar 2: The Way of Water respectivamente.

El premio del año pasado a Mejor Canción Original fue para Billie Eilish y Finneas por ‘No Time To Die’, extraída de la película de James Bond de la misma.
