The Weekend y BTS fueron los grandes ganadores de los iHeartRadio Awards 2021, que se celebró anoche en el Dolby Theatre de Los Ángeles.
La ceremonia conducida por Usher, tras la cancelación de su edición 2020 debido a la pandemia, regresó con una nueva llamada TikTok Bop of the Year, otorgado en base a los votos de los fans.
The Weeknd lideró a los nominados de iHeartRadio con ocho nominaciones y se llevó a casa tres, incluidos Canción del año y Artista masculino del año, por la mayor cantidad de premios de la noche empatados con BTS.
El evento contó con varias actuaciones en vivo como las de The Weeknd y Ariana Grande haciendo el remix de «Save Your Tears», también subieron al escenario Silk Sonic y Doja Cat.
Por su parte, Demi Lovato, Brandi Carlile y ELLA, hicieron un tributo a Elton John, quien recibió el Premio iHeartRadio Icono de este año.
