The Strokes se ha sumado a las múltiples iniciativas para recolectar fondos en la lucha contra la pandemia del coronavirus.

Pasar un rato con los miembros de The Strokes es una de las actividades que se subastarán en el sitio de Sotheby’s para recaudar fondos durante la crisis.

La webside también ofrece una clase de interpretación con Patrick Stewart, tomarse un café a distancia con Hillary Clinton o grabar una canción con Sting.

Sotheby’s y Google llevarán a cabo la subasta de estas experiencia para intentar recaudar el máximo de dinero, para el Comité Internacional de Rescate para combatir el covid-19.

La subasta se realizará entre el 1 y el 8 de mayo, mientras que las pujas comienzan en 50 dólares cada una.

Para poder participar se debe ingresar Google Meet, el servicio de video de Google en el que se llevará a cabo la subasta.

A través de la videoconferencia, también se subastará una conversación con Sasha Baron Cohen y con el astronauta del Apollo 9 Russell Schweickart, según Billboard.
